If you connect Alfabox and the screen is ‘jumping’ or there is a black screen and you see one of the messages on the screen:
no signal
mode not supported
missed matched output, that means the resolution is not supported.

The resolution has to be changed from BIOS (Basic Input/Output System). Follow the steps below to change the resolution:

  1. Connect Alfabox to your TV via composite cable (red, white, yellow) or via HDMI
  2. Unplug the box from the power.
  3. Press and hold MENU button on the remote and plug in the box holding the MENU button until blue screen appears.
  4. In the TV System make following changes:
    – If your Alfabox is connected to the TV via composite cable – select: NTSC 480i
    – If your Alfabox is connected to the TV via HDMI cable cable -select: 720p-60 or 1080i-60resolution1
  5. Press an arrow down and go to Exit & Save.

  6. Press the right arrow and select OK on the remote.

  7. The Alfabox will reboot.

If icons on the home screen are too big or too small, you can change the resolution from settings:

  1. Press SET on the remote
  2. In the System settings select Video and press OK
  3. Naciƛnij SET na pilocie
  4. Zobaczysz ekran z System Settings
  5. Go to Video Output Mode and using the right arrow change the resolution:
    – If your Alfabox is connected to the TV via composite cable – select: NTSC 480i
    – If your Alfabox is connected to the TV via HDMI cable cable -select: 720p-60 or 1080i-60
  6. Go to Graphic Resolution and select: Same as video
  7. Press down arrow to go to Exit and press OK on the remote to confirm.
